The meeting was attended by the Minister of Energy and Mining Eng. Adel Ali Ibrahim with the Ethiopian delegation visiting Sudan at his office today led by the Ethiopian Minister of Finance. The meeting, which included a high-level delegation from the Sudanese and Ethiopian sides, dealt with issues related to the establishment of the line and how to implement the agreement to benefit both countries. The Ethiopian delegation praised the cooperation of the Sudanese Nile Petroleum Company with the Ethiopian Petroleum Corporation, which owns investments and oil service stations in Ethiopia.
For his part, the Minister of Energy and Mining agreed on the necessary arrangements for the construction of the pipeline, pointing out the importance of the pipeline linking Sudan and Ethiopia to reduce the cost in transporting oil products and working hard to make the agreement a reality to benefit
